Good news Em is working with another producer, for me Dre was the one holding his evolution back. Em with new producers will produce music unlike what we've heard IMO.

But Mr. Porter said the album was in the 11th hour in fucking November. Now it's Febuary and he's doing new tracks with DJ Khalil now? Aka still making new material aka nowhere near fucking done.

I'm guessing June release for R2.

I'd rather wait for a great album than get an average album tomorrow. :y:

how the HELL... can it be average after all this time?

Yeah, I don't mind waiting for a great album (as long as some other great albums is dropped in the mean-time), though if it takes a long time (type another 6 months or more) I think he should release a throwaway track produced by one of the "new" producers to give people a little taste of what's to come to keep the R2 hype up.

Agree with that, and it shouldn't even be a big deal considering the amount of material he apparentely has, there must be atleast one dope record that won't be on the album

This sounds like the album is not done yet :( but that's good cause that means he's putting more new and good material :y:

Alch never said anything about it being produced by himself, most people just assumed it cause he mentioned it. The only thing he said was that there was A track called insult to injury and that in sounded like the continuation of underground.

I have a feeling that he scrapped I.T.I when he changed up the concept.

Alaine wrote:I'm not saying it was completely false. IMO he probably heard few tracks . But some info like it was nearly complete & in 11th quarter could be false, as Em was writing non-stop and they probably didn't even decide the tracklist by then.

Well no probably not though. He's one of Em's closest friends not some shmuck who's just been signed to Shady and is talking shit.

Mr. Porter was talking very passionately about it and saying it's one of the best balanced albums since MMLP and you've got a variety of Em on there. And there's no quaky music now.

So quite clearly Em has changed again and just keeps re-doing shit. Because Em himself said in November that he was pretty much done and they were just mixing it so he just keeps doing more and more.

And I believe that there will be no filler, he's quite clearly trying to make every song something and Mr. Porter said every single song is something special and I think that's what he's trying to do, make an album where every song is a masterpiece.

It sucks Alch. and Em don't have that chemistry like Just Blaze/Em have. :'(

still not getting my hopes high. Kingdom Come had Kahlil, Dre, and Just Blaze production and people still hated it. :shifty:
