Fuck Dre's beats. My mate got them for 140 quid and was raving about them. I listened and they were slightly better than my Panasonic 30 quid ones.

The problem with headphones is, unless you leave them in the fucking packet they break after about 6 months. Thats why I never pay over the odds.

For that price all in ear ones are pretty similar. The Phillips (dont know why I said Panasonic earlier ) ones I got are pretty good but I havent a clue what they are called or anything...

Monster's products are overpriced. You could buy a pair of RadioShack brand studio headphones that are just as good for a fraction of the price.
So the answer is no.

I agree. They put a giant mark-up on them because they're sponsored (or whatever) by Dre. I've tried them out, nothing special. I don't know how common the button-pause feature is, or in what price range features like that start getting added onto a quality pair of phones.
