And I'm proud to say that I'm very supportive of Em. I can always stand up to people that call him sucks or say something bad & not true about him. But when it comes to his music, I can't turn a blind eye

Of course, It's been out for less time than any of his other albums.

Encore sold about 4x amount in the same span time (nearly 1 year). And Relapse is pretty much dead by now since the last single is from July? Honestly, you can ask any member here and they can tell you it's the least successful. Relapse do rather well compared to today's standards, but not Eminem's standard (if ya know what I mean). And I'm not trying to be offensive, I just wanted to explain it in a easy understandable way

As far as singles goes Relapse hasn't dissapointed, like 7 top 40 tracks and 1 #1 single in the U.S., none of his previous albums ever achieved that, but insted they lasted longer in the chart. But i agree that we should just wait untill we atleast hear a snippet from Relapse 2 before we make judgement.

I guess so too. Because of the hype first of all. They're making it look like it's perfect, will be a classic... and we are nervous as hell.
I think every album is most of the times disappointing to some ppl. Some ppl would think it's the best album ever, other ppl will disappoint..

It's interesting to me because Em himself is allowing all of this extreme hype to take hold. By not releasing any info, or snippets or tracks, he is allowing all of these different narratives to take hold, such as it be his best album and one of the best in history. Speculation is running wild, and without atleast a snippet we cannot begin to know how it will really turn out. I think he has to realize this is happening, and it must be a calculated move. If he didnt think that he had something special on his hands or if he was not in the zone creatively, he would not stay silent and let all of this unsubstantiated hype build up. It just seems like all of this silence is building up to something big.

I've heard good things about it, and I expect it to be good. But saying it will be a classic before it's even out is just stupid.

For all we know, it could be another Encore

We just need to wait for it, and not try to expect anything from it....if you expect it will be shit, then when you finally get it, your gonna be pleasantly surprised

I hate everyone going "It's going to be like MMLP and TES" and stuff like that. I hope it's not. The best artists can switch their style from album to album and Em has done that every album so far. So i'm hoping for something we havent heard before.

And to everyone saying "I think its gunna be crap so I'm not dissapointed" - that's rubbish. Every Eminem fan is thinking it's gunna be great and is excited and don't try and deny it. You can't help how you feel. I think it's gunna be class, if I'm disssapointed then so be it, at least I had a fun few months being excited..
