Lil wayne skips prison cause his toothy hurts

Weezy thought he was going to be put away for a long time when he invited friends, family and random stars to his Super Bowl celebration-slash-going away party at Miami's Dolce nightclub. The 27-year-old rapper, real name Dwayne Carter, had plead guilty to possessing a loaded handgun on his tour bus in 2007. He was scheduled to begin serving a one year sentence less than two days after his Saints swiped the title from Peyton Manning and the favorite Colts.

But the gold-toothed hip-hop star was saved by the dentist's drill. At least for now.

On Tuesday, Wayne's attorney asked a New York judge to delay the rapper's jail sentence until he recovers from surgery to repair a cracked tooth. Wayne didn't say a word during the hearing, and judge Charles H. Solomon agreed to give him a pass until March 2.

Wayne will now return to Miami, where he'll undergo oral surgery on Friday and require a week to heal.

But if we know Weezy, then we know sitting tight and recovering isn't all he'll be doing over the next few weeks.

Hmmm. When you have oral surgery you are usually prescribed some painkiller. Is there any way he can get them to give him his 'medicine' while he is in jail? If so, thats brilliant. Get sent to jail and get fed painkillers because you had tooth surgery right before you went.

Prisons wont allow narcotics because the drug trade is already an issue in jail..when I was locked up a dude had his tooth pulled and was only given tyenol for pain.

I know what it feels like to have pain with a tooth, so I can relate. I think it's funny how the original poster of this topic created the topic title in a way that it makes Lil Wayne sound like a wimp, when in reality, a tooth ache is possibly one of the most painful, irritating things ever. if you had one right now, you probably wouldn't be taking the piss out of him. Hell, I'm not having a go, it's just that I can relate to it, so i can see it from his perspective. Lay off the dude, he's about to go to jail for a year for Christ's sakes.
