none of those are my issues... Like i said above, my issues are these:

i just want to know if it's wrong to ask her...considering I'm moving down to Santa Barbara (250 miles away) in a few month.

if u feel that strongly about her...and u feel she does to..then ask her out
if not ull move away and ull always wonder..what if...
and she may always wonder why u 2 hit it off but u never asked her out
id say go forrit
if i liked a guy or a guy would like me..i would want him to tell me
its a 2 people thing.. maybe she wont have any trouble with you moving
and then u knocked it off before it could even start..
but idk thats just me working from that 1 line of info u gave me lol

Dont bother if you wont make the trip back & forth to see her after you move or the difficulty of keeping in touch is a problem, because you'll grow close & get attached to the relationship you'll build in those 5 months for nothing and it'll only make it harder on the both of you. Only if you think she's worth it & you are committed to making an effort, then go for it.

i was in the same situation last year, still went for it, we went out for 9 month (she moved 7 month in) and it didn't really work out cause she didn't put the effort...but i did sooo i'm not worried about me putting effort.

I don't think I'm neccsarily protecting myself, I'm trying to be upfront though. Cause I feel it'd be a dick move knowing that i'm moving next year and if i dont tell her that and we get serious, then i'd be an asshole.

but I've told her at least two times that i'm moving so i'm hoping that she just makes the decision when i ask.
