His monstrous cock.

And, finally, his place in the rap game after all these years. Like in Forever and Drop the World.

I partly agree with that. I mean, what does he have to be angry about anymore to make agressive raps? He's rich, critics stay away now, most from the hip hop community respect him.

Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench.

That's the fun isn't it? The mystery behind the album.
We'll have to wait and see.

I'd say: about detroit, about the reception of relapse, celeb disses, the critics, the rap game, theres so little info about the album that its to hard to understand whats going on.

Who in the hell is Owl City or Justin Bieber? :confusion:

Owl City is like a 20 year old dude, like a solo project known as Owl City.
Justin Beiber is a 15 year old pop singer who sounds like a 7 year old girl.

I think you're joking, but I'll explain it anyways.

Justin Bieber is some poppy singer who's like 14, and even rapped a couple lines from Lose Yourself live. :shakehead:

And Owl City made that stupid Fireflies song. It's sooo gay. :n: :n:

I will give credit to Owl City for not following the "Let's all go party" "I'm sexy and fly" "Your the only girl that i want in the world" trend. I thought Fireflies was pretty good for a pop song.

i've thought about this... honestly i think em does have alot to rap about. life is big, and it doesnt stay perfect. we wonder about this because we dont even have a fuckin clue how his life is like now. i cant predict what relapse 2 is gonna be about but em can be very unpredictable.

I think he might have one more album left in his contract.

You just think he has nothing left to rap about because he puts so many lyrics into each song / album.

But he said before he's careful not to burn himself out which each CD. He always makes sure he has plenty to talk about.

I mean think - You haven't ever heard him rap properly about Ronnie's death. There's probably tons of childhood and adolescant incidents that are big enough to rap about he's kept to himself.

He's only mentioned a few actual events and had a few recurring characters. I'm sure he's not out of life stories just yet lmao. And besides all that...

He's EMINEM. I'm actually glad he has no personal stuff etc. It will force him to be more creative. I want to hear concepts and originality. He can create stories, comedy songs, political stompers, anything. He's got plenty to rap about because of the way he raps. It sounds sporadic because he writes in tangents, just mentally matches double word, triple word phrases that rhyme in his head so you get this long string of randomly rhyming phrases. Which he then figures out how to stick together. Then he puts another string then another and so on until he has a web of rhymes.

He can rap about so much outside of his own life too. That's one thing I can say is that he's very self-obsessed but when he gives his perspective on the outside he's very effective. I also think these new beats will have given him ideas and sparked intense creativity in him.

But I mean... He has a million different ways of putting across one idea. Like his Westwood freestyle, that verse in the middle where he's just on an intense flow addiction. He can quite clearly come up with shit like that all day. His phrasing etc. now is so expansive, poetic... He uses novelist techniques like it's nothing. Nobody comes close and I think R2 will be his best.

Yeah, but he said he wasn't going to rap about his personal life anymore. What does that leave him with?

I hope he changes his mind. He can rap about Proof, he can rap about the new generation coming in, but man lets face it Eminem isn't the spokesman for this generation anymore. As much as it sucks, he just isn't. He can't make another "Sing For The Moment" and have this generation of kids feel it like we all felt it when he was in his prime popularity wise. It's just not Em's game until he comes and takes it back which is damn near impossible because kids don't think like we did when we were younger.

What does Em have to be angry about? That's when he was at his best IMO. It's kind of like when Michael Jordan retired and Kobe was just taking over. When he came back the game had already moved on and Kobe was the new best. It's just not Em's game anymore but we still love to hear his music because he's a legend.

Well there is no new best IMO.

I've yet to see a better or more fitting king step to the throne.

Kanye was a pretty good king for a while but obviously not a scratch on Em lyrically. As long as Em goes about it right, he can absolutely have the same impact.

Don't like the same shit? All Em used to talk about was universal, constant, human-trait-driven problems such as depression, not fitting in, socital issues. They're all still at large and always will be. Em has his legion of fans who grew up on him, people who are just getting into him, his older fans and a whole new generation of kids that may grow up on his next few albums.
