Excluding De JaVu and Beatiful, i didn't like relapse....maybe because I cannot withstand that accent....But i really hate these tracks:

thats like 50% of the whole songs in the album!!

Encore has some pretty good songs(Like toy soldiers, mosh) but also some bad songs(my first single, the worst eminem song ever imo)
And Relapse has some great songs,som average and maybe one or two bad.
So in conclusion, relapse is better

Relapse is a better album than Encore, hands down. Any true Em fan knows this. Encore had some good songs (Yellow Brick Road, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird, etc.), but the bad songs are REALLY bad and bring the album down a lot. He should have stuck with the bonus tracks and taken out Big Weenie, My First Single, and either Ass Like That or Rainman, though Rainman is kinda funny to me. But still, on Encore he sounds bored and drugged out, whereas on Relapse he sounds like he's having fun with it. Plus, Relapse is insane lyrically and flow-wise. No one can deny the lyricism of Stay Wide Awake, one of the most genius songs he's ever written. Some people don't like the accent, but in reality the accent fit the craziness of the content and the beats, I can't really imagine him rapping in a normal voice to a lot of those beats. That's not to say I really like the accent, I don't. But, I don't mind it as much as most people, I prefer his normal voice any day. Relapse's bad songs (which are few in number) beat most of the entire Encore album. The accent is the only thing that turned it off to a lot of people, and the content, but the songs are a lot better and more interesting than Encore's songs

Imo Encore has more REALLY good tracks then Relapse, but Relapse is more consistent. Relapse wins but not by to much.

I think it's safe to say that it's a universal opinion, meaning that a lot of people in the world, and on here, recognize Encore as Em's worst album. The majority of Em fans believe this. A lot of Em fans don't like Relapse either, but they recognize it as a better album as a whole than Encore. There are very few people I know who will say Encore is a better album. Encore was a poppy album, his most mainstream one, and usually fans hate when their favorite artists "sell out". Even though Em technically "sold out" before Encore, Encore is the album with all the poppy songs. Relapse, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. It has some catchy tunes, but they have more substance than the ones on Encore

Not trying to start an argument, I'm just saying. I didn't even mean much by that statement, I just needed to say something, so I said that. But there are a lot of huge Eminem fans who will most likely say Relapse is the better album. Sorry if I offended you
