Star Wars, Hulk... Those are the ones that I like so far. I started reading comics about 2 months ago.

Well I'll start off with a big one

Civil War by Marvel Comics

A group of super hero's ends up killing a bunch of innocent people, so the government passes a new law. The act requires any person in the United States with superhuman abilities to register with the federal government as a "human weapon of mass destruction", reveal his/her true identity to the authorities, and undergo proper training. Those who sign also have the option of working for S.H.I.E.L.D., earning a salary and benefits such as those earned by other American civil servants.

Some hero's say fuck that shit, and go on the run, while other hero's hunt them down.

The whole story lasted about a year, and ended with a bunch of hero's dying.
