Nas isn't a oneline rapper, you need to quote his whole verse.

That said, this is one of my favourites..

''Nukkas fear what they don't understand, hate what they can't conquer
Guess it's just the fury of men.''
"Truth is limitless in its range; if you drop a 'T' and look at it in reverse, it could hurt."

''Lifes a bitch but God forbid that bitch divorce me''

''Hit the Earth like a comet, invasion
Nas is like the Afrocentric Asian, half-man, half-amazin''

Shit, every line on Illmatic is a quoteable to me :worship:
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

^That's a dope line, KillahBee those lines you posted are dope as well.

But as far as quotables, It Aint Hard To Tell >*

It ain't hard to tell, I excel, then prevail
The mic is contacted, I attract clientele
My mic check is life or death, breathin a sniper's breath
I exhale the yellow smoke of buddha through righteous steps
Deep like The Shinin', sparkle like a diamond
Sneak a uzi on the island in my army jacket linin
Hit the Earth like a comet, invasion
Nas is like the Afrocentric Asian, half-man, half-amazin
Cause in my physical, I can express through song
Delete stress like Motrin, then extend strong
I drank Moet with Medusa, give her shotguns in hell
From the spliff that I lift and inhale, it ain't hard to tell

The buddha monk's in your trunk, turn the bass up
Not stories by Aesop, place your loot up, parties I shoot up
Nas, I analyze, drop a jew-el, inhale from the L
School a fool well, you feel it like braille
It ain't hard to tell, I kick a skill like Shaquille holds a pill
Vocabulary spills I'm +Ill+
plus +Matic+, I freak beats slam it like Iron Shiek
Jam like a tech with correct techniques
So analyze me, surprise me, but can't magmatize me
Scannin while you're plannin ways to sabotage me
I leave em froze like her-on in your nose
Nas'll rock well, it ain't hard to tell

This rhythmatic explosion, is what your frame of mind has chosen
I'll leave your brain stimulated, niggaz is frozen
Speak with criminal slang, begin like a violin
End like Leviathan, it's deep well let me try again
Wisdom be leakin out my grapefruit troop
I dominate break loops, givin mics men-e-straul cycles
Street's disciple, I rock beats that's mega trifle
And groovy but smoother than moves by Villanova
You're still a soldier, I'm like Sly Stone in Cobra
Packin like a rasta in the weed spot
Vocals'll squeeze glocks, MC's eavesdrop
Though they need not to sneak
My poetry's deep, I never fell
Nas's raps should be locked in a cell
It ain't hard to tell...

I agree with mrZu that Nas isnt really a one line emcee but every line/verse quoted on here is ridiculous :worship:

This has to be my favorite 16 dropped by Nas

''Through the lights cameras and action, glamour glitters and gold
I unfold the scroll, plant seeds to stampede the globe
When I'm deceased, by then the beast arise like yeast
to conquer peace leaving savages to roam in the streets
Live on the run, police paying me to give in my gun
Trick my Wisdom, with the system that imprisoned my son
Smoke a gold leaf I hold heat, nonchalantly
I'm grungy, but things I do is real it never haunts me
while, funny style niggaz roll in the pile
Rooster heads profile on a bus to Riker's Isle
Holdin weed inside they pussy with they minds on the
pretty things in life, props is a true thug's wife
It's like a cycle, niggaz come home, some'll go in
Do a bullet, come back, do the same shit again
From the womb to the tomb, presume the unpredictable
Guns salute life, rapidly, that's the ritual''

^ *Listens to that verse, advises local emcee talent to go on strike*
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome

See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

"Nas is like.." Sex to a nympho, but nothin sweet
I'm like beef, bustin heat through your windows
I'm like a street sweeper, greenleaf reaper
Like Greeks in Egypt, learnin somethin deep from they teachers
I'm like crime, like your nine, your man you would die for
Always got you, I'm like Pop Duke you would cry for
I'm like a whole lot of loot, I'm like crisp money
Corporate accounts from a rich company
I'm like ecstasy for ladies, I'm like all races
combined in one man; like the '99 summer jam
Bulletproof Hummer man
I'm like being locked down around new faces, and none of em fam'
I'm the feelin of a millionaire spendin a hundred grand
I'm a poor man's dream, a thug poet
Live it, and I write down and I watch it blow up
Y'all know what I'm like, y'all play it your system every night
Now..

That's one of my all time favourite verses.

''A drug dealer’s dream
Stash cream keys on a triple beam
Five hundred sl green, ninety-five nickle gleam
Condominium, thug dressed like a gentleman
Tailor made ostrich, chanel for my women friend
Murderin, numbers on your head while I’m burglarin
Shank is servin em, whassup to all my niggaz swervin in
New york metropolis, the bridge brings apocalypse
Shoot at the clouds feels like, the holy beast is watchin us
Mad man my sanity is goin like an hourglass
Gun inside my bad hand I sliced tryin to bag grams
I got hoes that used to milk you
Niggaz who could’ve killed you
Is down with my ill crew of psychoes
Nas escobar movin on your weak production
Pumpin corruption in the third world we just bustin''

I think its fair to say that the Lil Wayne best lines thread is better than this  :sweating: :zipped:

Since we're just talking 'lines' here and not verses...

I think pretty much one of my all time favourite Nas lines is:
"I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death"

Superb line.

Oh and just for kicks, this line I love just because of my hate for Jay-Z.:
"How many Biggie rhymes are gonna come out yo fat lips?"

Ah, music to my ears.
