Well, I mean if he collabed with another high profile artist he may get more play on radio... But if you're asking which would be better from a subjective standpoint - Always the SOLO.

Em is a solo artist, I don't wanna hear him with other artists. That's why I buy a solo album. It's cool if it's like 3-4 very well chosen features on the album with a point but not for 1st single.
