All 85,000 tickets for T in the Park 2010 sold out today in less than 90 minutes.

Bolstered by a strong line-up featuring Eminem, Muse and Jay-Z, the majority of tickets were snapped up in less than an hour leaving only leaving day tickets and travel packages left before they sold-out too.

Geoff Ellis, Festival Director at DF Concerts, said of the feat: “We know that we have an exceptionally strong line-up for 2010 but you can’t be complacent, it’s still momentous for us to sell out now as it was the first time we did and we’re really delighted.

“It’s great to know 85,000 music lovers think we’ve made the right choices and can’t wait for July 9th, and we can’t wait to put the best T in the Park yet on for them.”

Also on the bill at T in the Park are the likes of Kasabian, The Prodigy, Florence & The Machine, 30 Seconds To Mars, Biffy Clyro, Faithless and Stereophonics.

T in the Park 2010 takes place in Balado, Kinross-shire from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July.

The Friday sees Pink, The Ting Tings, Gossip and The Temper Trap share the bill, while it's widely predicted that Eminem will be heading Saturday.

Was gunna go with my brother and a couple of mates but they didn't want to go enough to spend 75 quid on tickets plaus money on travel.

T In The Park Tickets On Sale

Tickets for Scotland’s biggest festival T In The Park have gone on sale this morning.

Eminem, Muse and Kasabian were announced as the headliners earlier this week.

Also confirmed are Jay-Z, Dizzee Rascal, Florence and the Machine, Biffy Clyro, Hot Chip, Black Eyed Peas and The Prodigy.

However the big surprise on the line up is Eminem who hasn’t played a full live show in the UK since September 2005.

It now seems likely that the rapper will play another UK festival around the same time or announce his own large scale concerts.

T In The Park takes place this July 9-11 at Balado, Kinross-shire
