I almost had a head on collision at 50 mph coming home. I managed to swerve out of the way and I bounced off the gaurd rail like a bumper car.

Luckily, my car seems fine, albeit a scratch or two.

Well, I seriously don't have friends anymore, so I don't know what that's like. I hate parties and being around people, so we're pretty opposite.
But I do know what mistrust feels like.
I hate being mistrusted more than almost anything.
It's even more hurtful when it's your parents.
However, watching my parents deal with my 15 year old sister changed my mind.
My sister is an absolute cunt.
She whines like you do: "why don't you trust me!?"
As an observant outsider, I see that she doesn't deserve their trust.
My parents are trying to help my sister, not inhibit her.
I think your parents mistrust you because they love you.
A lot of kids who get smashed on a regular basis secretly WISH that their parents would stop them, because it would make them feel valuable.
If your parents just let you do anything, they wouldn't be doing their jobs.
And to be honest, if my high school aged son wanted to ride a toboggon drunk with his friends, I would say no.

Damn I remember being the young one they always told to go get something (my parents not my bros, if my bros ask me for a bottle of water, I'd come back with a bottle of piss) and I fucking hated it. Now that I don't do what they tell me, they don't trust me, and think I can't handle my business. SPECIALLY MY DAD. Dude my dad gives me lectures on life and mocks the fuck out of me on a second basis. I quit going to the living room cause if I get stuck with my dad in a room for more than 2 seconds, some world war shit is about to pop off. What your parents are doing is very wrong. Not only are they making you mentally more violent and angry, they are creating a monster. When I used to go to school, everyday in the morning before I head off to school, they would piss me off and remind me of the fuck up I am. So I ended up going school with a fucked up mood waiting for someone to say hello to me so I can knock their ass out. And that did happen, till I started skipping school and fights and all that till I got kicked out. See my point? Bad parenting is what makes kids violent and unsuccessful at times. Instead of having a clear conscience, you have a lot of shit to think about causing lack in your concentration.
