It's not a "freestyle" if it's written but the rest of the stuff you said would still qualify as a freestyle. A freestyle is just off the top of the head but you can still plan what you want to say as long as it isn't a memorized verse. Anybody who disagrees obviously doesn't rap seriously.

No it can be a freestyle if it's written. Freestyle is just on the spot to a new beat, can be a random, unused verse, often written purely for freestyle use. Just punchline, free of theme to a new beat with occasional improvisation.

It doesn't have to be off the top.
