If Bizarre could stop showing his fat, ugly, speech impedimented face on the record every 2 seconds. Yeah, they would've been amazing.

The fact that is his best verse on the entire album only further proves my point.

And yes, his verse on Revelation sucked dick and ruined the song. Sorry.

Most of the verses he spit on Devil's Night were on the MMLP wavelength and were incredibly sick, he could have easily done another album with that kinda material and it would have easily been brilliant. Instead he chose to just use them to put D12 to shame 90% of the album, but oh well, choices. :b:

Edit: Fuck, Justbb09 beat me to it

did em mature too quickly...i dont think so, he has always been mature

i see him more mature than dre, snoop, and others of that same lyrical content.
while these rappers were rapping about fame, cars, 40 oz's & bitches, em kept it hard and crazy with murder tracks, and explicitly abnormal rhymes :y:

so yeah, if anything he matured more than he already was,
with the exception of Relapse :shifty:

His shit on Devils Night in 2001, was dope, as was the whole album, and TES was a classic :smoking:

No, he matured too slowly.

I think he should of released as many albums when he was at his prime as he could...and a 2001 album would have been great. But he didn't.

call the Slim Shady LP the greatest
The Marshall Mathers was a classic
The Eminem Show was fantastic
But Encore just didn't have the caliber to match it

Eminem was at his most mature on SSLP.

So no.

He generally went backwards in terms of maturity, until Relapse, where he matured from Encore, which was the most immature (and horrid, of course) album ever created.

those guys are his best friend. he aint just gonna dump him. shows what a good friend he is.

and to answer your question did he mature to quickly? no he matured to slow lol he was always immature and now it seems he has grown up finally.

Anyway -- I think the transition between the MMLP and TES was perfect. Especially for the time in between.

I couldn't have asked for better. =)

justbb09 wrote:ive always thought Em could have came out with another album similar to the MMLP style. if you listen to Devils Night, all his lyrics are versus that imo fit into the MMLP style. it really just comes down to him going back to detriot and getting his friends. if he didnt do that im sure he would of had another album out before TES.

and yes, MMLP is 10000X better then TES. SSLP and MMLP will forever be his best work. that style is so unique and that is what hooked me as an Eminem fan. not TES or 8 Mile. TES to me was too mainstream.

how the hell was it mainstream ??
