HipHopDX reports that Gang Starr’s Guru is currently in a coma and Miss Info confirmed that he’s currently at a New York-area hospital and will undergo surgery tomorrow after having suffered cardiac arrest. DJ Premier was supposed to speak to DJ Eclipse on HipHopNation tonight but she said he’s decided to put that on hold.
Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family right now.

I just saw all my tweets abouts him. Not Guru I actually just bought his album Jazzmataz Vol. 2 the other day precisely cause I thought he deserved the buy. I really hope the best for him and his family.
