The anticipation of the album was probably even more satisfying than actually getting it.

Umm the best moment probably was the induction at the Rock & Roll thing, cause as you said it was the first time we saw Em in a big public thing in forever.

And the worst was defenitely when I first read the interview in Vibe magazine about his overdose :'(

Yeah, I wasn't sure how SWA was going to be, but I could tell that Underground was going to be EPIC.

I wasn't disappointed in that respect.

Oooh, I forgot about that Vibe interview! That was deep. I remember some of the interview was done before or after Em inducted Run DMC. It was during a meal, and Paul and Em, and the rest of the guys got to watch some of the NCAA games, I think it was even a Michigan St. game, at a Steak-house, before going to an appearance or to do some business. I think it was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction they were going to.

For some reason, I feel like some Eminem news is ready to break :shadywink:. I went to a couple of other sites to see if they had anything in advance. Nothing yet, but It Won't Be Soon Before Long, No Wait That's Maroon 5 :p.

But if I remember right, the board was like this last year before Relapse 1 news broke. People kept talking about it everyday like when are we gonna get it, then all of a sudden BAM, it was there. You Jens, kept telling everyone to be patient, it was on its way, then one morning, you were the first one to post his press release, and was like, "See what did I tell ya?". LOL

Shit, I'm starting to remember all this Relapse stuff like Celine Dion. I guess it's "All Coming Back to Me" now. :p LOL

Some really good memories. Firstly, hearing on the radio that Eminem was number one on that charts again (Crack a Bottle) and thinking that even Eminem's worst song goes number one easily. (I remember being very happy) Hearing those snippets for Underground and Stay Wide Awake also gave me goosebumps. Listening on the radio for ages waiting to hear "We Made You" and being pretty dissapointed :'( and not liking the video much either when I saw it. Downloading the album as it leaked and really loving Stay Wide Awake and also loving the flow in Insane. Some real nostalgia there.

I first got crack a bottles original version. i was heavy into drugs and was driving around listening to it loud for like an hour. then I had dial up so i wasnt going online much. i think i just told myself to go online and check since most albums leak like 2 weeks before the date so i went on and saw it everywhere. so i dl'ed it and popped a bunch of percoset and started listening. the entire album touched home much more so than any of his past albums ever did and i basically bumped that shit for 2 months non stop. :y:

plan to do the same for r2

Wonder if Mariah Carey or Nick Cannon bought Relapse :shifty:
If so, they probably won't Relapse 2

Another memory is Em's appearance. No one really said anything negative about Eminem's appearance, i.e weight, he looked fine and normal.

I remember seeing the "We Made You" video for the first time and thinking when I saw his suspenders scene, with Sarah Palin on the desk, "Damn, Em's been working with a trainer, and made sure he was right for this video" Abs were tight and he still got a big chest :p.

I remember his physical appearance, i.e. weight gain, was just as big of an issue a year ago, if not bigger, than his drug use. People were figuring he kicked the drug habit, and were wondering how he would keep himself from getting overweight, in a healthy manner, i.e. eating right and exercising properly, not crash dieting after eating junk for awhile. Then all of a sudden late last year, SOME people started wondering if he had relapsed again. They seem to have forgotten that Eminem's weight gain and drug abuse went hand in hand. They had it backwards. If he had started to balloon in weight again, then the drug claims might have been substantiated.

Damn, I almost forgot Eminem ever was overweight. People keep bringing up drug shit, and with Eminem, it don't go together unless he gains weight. I love remembering this stuff!!!

Feel like certain people or things have been tryin to keep Em fans focused on certain things or events, and not remembering things that happened before or after certain things or events :shifty:

Yeah, more memories on the way!

^Nick Cannon downloaded it and gave it a listen when it leaked. I remember him commenting saying he was listening to Em's new album when he discovered the infamous track "bagpipes from bagdad'
lol!

Didn't he say controversy follows him? LOL
