that's dumb ideology. Just cause we're eventually going to die, doesn't you don't do anything because you know you'll eventually lose it. What separates humans from other creatures is our abilities to have memories. You're not going to have many good memories if you push people away.

I don't see the point in relationships. That's my viewpoint, and I don't care if you find it to be dumb. I certainly don't base my views on what other people think. Memories don't do shit for me. Any good memories I have are painful due to loss.

Beyond that, we're talking about relationships here. Staying away from relationships doesn't mean your life will be void of good memories. That means you won't have "good" memories of a relationship. There is more to life than living for/or with another.

That's the way I see it. People get together, they love eachother, yada yada. They'll grow apart, too. If they don't, then perhaps they'll just settle for what they have. Feeling comfortable with each other. Fuck all that. If that's what you want, fine, more power to you.

I agree, it's depressing as shit. I also feel like it's the truth. Perhaps something will change my mind some day.

As far as off'ing yourself, believe me, I know how you would get to that conclusion. I've considered it, but I don't think that would go down until most of my family naturally passes on. I'd hate to make them feel any pain simply because I was sick of the world.
