Are they any good? The only games Id probablt get are that, Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Zelda. Apart from that I hear its pretty crap.

the wii sports is dope, smash bros, mario kart like you said. the classic nintendo games you know like metriod. they have guitar hero. they dont have a huge variety of games and alot of games are hard because you have to move the controller to control the game.

like 2k10 bball, you have to make a passing motion and shooting motion with the controller...

ps3 crazy expensive, xbox breaks down like crazy, and wii doesnt have diversity and wierd controls

Well, I got a PS3 but all I use it for is Fifa 10 online.

If I can get one cheap I probably will just for the classic Nintendo games.

The Wii is probably my favorite system. I have a Wii, and all my friends have a 360, and just comparing between them two they both have different benefits for different players.

The Wii definitely fits for the old school Nintendo heads like myself, the games released for the classic franchises have been nothing short of amazing. And it does have it's few odd games that are terrific. Although, as Spyder said, there isn't a lot of diversity with it. That's it's main problem, the complete lack of games. Er, good games, that is. As fun as it is, you can't just get by on three franchises. (Mario, Zelda, Metroid).

The 360 is for more of the online gaming crowd I think. Everyone loves their Xbox Live, and rightfully so. Microsoft has mastered the internet, so of course they will master the internet gaming. The 360 also offers a lot of amazing games, with "Army of Two" being my current addiction. But again, as Spyder said, these things don't last very long at all. Sometimes it feels kinda pointless to own one without internet capability, or even an HDTV. Maybe that's just me.

And just screw the PS3 all around.

Me, I'm a Nintendo fanboy. So I'm quite excited for this new Mario game. The first one was sick, and this looks like it'll just completely blow that one out of the water. I mean, Yoshi is back!

Oh, and if your thinking of buying a Wii, "New Super Mario Bros." is definitely the way to go for a first game. It's fun, has infinite replay value, and if you have friends and another Wiimote, it gets pretty intense.
