I agree he is overrated, but imo Jay-Z>Kanye West easily.

Well, for you.

But Kanye is much more compelling to my ears. I'd listen to "Homecoming", "Jesus Walks", "Can't Tell Me Nothing", "Flashing Lights" or "Champion" over any Jay song any day.

I'd say one more album after Relapse 2 and that'll be it, I hope he releases some of his old unreleased material aswell

Yeah that should be his true encore.

Hopefully Relapse 2 will be the masterpiece everybody says it is. Then his final album just something totally different, unexpected, artistic and exciting.

Then finish off by releasing totally unheard material from every era on a fucking 4-Disc monster lmao. But pace the monster album like a story, time-wise and themed. Would be amazing.

+1 :y: If Relapse 2 is as good as it can be, it's going to be a brilliant album.
I'd like Ems last album to be an album like Jay-z' Black Album, reflecting on his career and leaving on high ( which Jay should have done :shakehead: )

Em shoild seriously release a shit load of unreleased material, Em, Nas and 2pac have insanely good unreleased stuff

I think he will quit when he has reached the age of 45-47 or something like that

So probably 4 or 5 more albums to go :smoking:

Basing this off the Complex interview I read :b:

No.

Not until he at least releases a boxed set.

im sure after R2, there will be about 2 more, and one greatest hits pt.2

seeing how the standard for greatest hits is every 3 albums,
we should get about 4 cd's from here to 2016 or so..........i hope at least

*EDIT* thats also taking into consideration the unreleased shit the label would put out if he died, so yeah, just how pac and biggie got milked even after they died, im sure the same would happen to em.
Jimmy iovine probably has rights to a lot of his unheard shit

Amadeo wrote:^ he did NOT get jay on Run This Town. Kanye's verse was truly terrible. "she got an ass that can swallow up a g-string, & up top, two bee stings, & i'm beasting.." lmao. Craptastic. jay wasn't good either but a hell of a lot better than Kanye

:o i thought Kanye's verse was one of his best in recent years, that along with Maybach Music 2

but back ON topic:nobody wants to hear their grandfather rap

No, it won't. He can't quit. I think he'll release albums until the label releases him from whatever contract he'll have at the time :D
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

[quote="Adam Quinn

I can see why some of you didn't like Blueprint 3, I thought it was a great Jay Z album, but you didn't like American Gangster? :shocked2:[/quote]

Shit man I forgot about American Gangster :o i was thinking that Jay only dropped Kingdom Come and BP3 since he came back :zipped:
I dont think that BP3 was a bad album, but Jay didn't sound motivated on there, Id rather Em go out on a high than to start making albums that he doesn't really sound interested in

No. After R2 he will make one album or two! And for the end he will make Curtain Call 2(greatest hits on 2 cds).
"Proof, No matter how much time passes, not a day goes by that I don't think of you. If it weren't for you, I would not be where I am today and we both know it. I tried to write song for you but nothing was good enough, so I'm dedicating them all to you-and you'd be happy to know that I spazzed out on 'em gain!I know you wouldn't have it any other way! Fuck 'em all--let's get 'em!
P.S. I'm sober now, I know you'd be proud. I love you Doody, I'll never forget you. Love, Doody "
