lol those two utterances are so connected. Fact remains that his best art was made when he had things to bitch about.

I think his best art is when he had something to prove. sslp and mmlp were better then tes because he wasnt famous and people were doubting him. Now people dont doubt him...

And I dont think he's depressed anymore. He's just bitching about these things still because it gives him a reason to be controversial...which was his thing his whole career so he clings to it like its the only way he stands out from the crowd. i.e - insane

Money and fame don't make life better at all, it maybe looks like it but it doesn't . Eminem's depression is the same , that's why here we also could say Fuck your depression but we're not going to because we respect you . You should respect eminem's depression, he's a human being like you, even with all the money he's got and even if he talks alot about his depression in his songs and interviews . I guess that's his kind of therapy so he can tell us his depression .

Come on EmBase.. Man... :(

Look, I have manic depressive bi-polar disorder. And I have since I was about 13. I'll just be happy as can be, but as soon as I get too happy, I get a huge wave of depression for the next few hours. I can't get really happy without leaving the room hating myself.
I'm not asking for sympathy, I'm simply trying to express to you that I know what dealing with depression feels like.

You say that Shady has nothing to bitch about... Are you fucking kidding me?

Imagine not being able to walk out of your own fucking front door freely...
Imagine not being able to do every day activities like grocery shopping, going out to eat, maybe walking around town.. He cannot go to ANY major event and just have a good time. There's always some motherfucker's there waiting to get a photo or some shit...

Now, that may not seem like too big of a subject to bitch about.. But imagine it after 10 years... Having to quarantine yourself like that... That shit takes a major tole.

You try having as fucked up as an up-bringing as Marshall.. Fatherless.. And then having to go through all of these years of drug addiction, and doing your absolute best to stay sober under all of this pressure, knowing that your best friend isn't there any longer to help you through it... And then that thought lingering in the back of your mind, knowing that you used him as a symbol of someone's death in a short film (Like Toy Soldiers).

You have no idea what it's like to acquire that level of fame. It's living on such a different level. You trying to speak on behalf of it is simply wrong. And you know that...

You're my favorite member here man... Please cut this crap... :(
i'm comin in, drivin my short bus
with this nose i don't need a torch up
bustin through, light the industry's porsche up
comin after who didn't support us...
imma change your brain bring
every wicked bit of strange to mainstream

But I'm sure there is someone worse of than you who might hear your problems and go "What the fuck? You've got a great life compared to me, quit bitchin" etc. You can also be pissed of at someone who is better of than you and is still monaing.

It's like when I got my GCSE results, I did pretty good but not great and this kid got all A's but one and was moaning becuase he expected better. But I didnt go to him 'Quit moaning blah blah blah' becuase he has different expectations to me.

Plus everyone reacts to their own situation differently. Money and fame donesn't make everyone happy.

And he hasnt moaned at all lately apart from Beautiful and that was made 2007.

The weird thing is how much I can relate to a lot of stuff on this thread including that^^ I've never been diagnosed with anything but my brother has aspergers syndrome which is a type of autism, it seems a lot of people on this forum (obviously not everyone) has either ADHD, Bi-polar or Autism.

Allthough I haven't been diagnosed with anything, I know I think much differently from my friends and people at work, I'm the only one who listens to rap music, my general manner is different and I've long suspected I might have something, mainly because of my brother.

Addicitiveness is another HUGE thing that effects me, mainly weed (£250-£300 a month habbit), but gambling is a BIG no no, I went through a stage where I just spent everything I earned on the roulette machines in the bookies because of a big win I had in the beginning.

I think rap music draws in a lot of white people with these disorders because of the lyracism, alot of people will take it as a form of guidance, and IMO I think this thread strengthens my theory. I'm going to mention something to the Doc next time I'm there.

I think that's bullshit. Just becuase a couple of people who listen to rap have disorders means it the fault of rap music? I'm sure fans of every genre have a minortity who have disorders. Doesnt mean it's the musics fault.

Rap music is wrongly blamed for plenty of things but that's one of the stupidiest I've ever read.

WHERE THE FUCK DID I SAY IT WAS RAP MUSICS FAULT? you total tool, I said people with these disorders are DRAWN IN to rap music as it acts as a sort of guidance, just as Eminem + Games music does for me when the red mist comes over.

Read posts properly before you try to be a super hero ok?

I misread your comment and I do apologise. It pisses me when rap is blamed for stuff so I kinda rushed into replying without properly reading the comment. Sorry about that :y:
