It was the same with Relapse 1. So if nothing comes out this month, R2 will be released at the end of the summer.

That still doesn't change anything. You can do songs on the road and finish the record up then. Eminem WILL NOT put a record out during the summer. He's smarter than that. So if it doesn't come out in the next two months we won't get it until September/Fall.

Anytime Em scratches his ass you guys always think he's going to make a big announcement about R2. Remember the Voodoo festival, what about the American Music Awards, he had to do it then, right? What about the Grammys, his buzz was so crazy he would have to announce the date around that time, right? Wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong again.

As soon as Em is done he will let us know, Interscope will let us know. Em knows we are waiting and Interscope wants to make money. I see no point in trying to speculate dates especially after every time everyone has been wrong.

We had a date for R1 way before this time last year, it's wack. I don't know whats going on but like I said I don't think it's coming out anytime soon.

@ Adam - Why wouldnt he release an album in the summer - He released TES in june of 2002. That album did just fine, even with the pirating.

Even with the country the way it is, look at C3...also released in june and sold a million.

If the artist can carry himself as well as these 2 do it doesnt matter when the album is dropped.

Even r1, a comeback album that leaked 2 weaks early, early enough for people to listen and decide if they liked it sold 600k so, I dont think time of the year really matters when it comes to an artist of this calibur

Lil wayne isnt an exception to the rule...just music in general hasnt been that good lately. No matter how bad the economy is, a ten dollar cd doesnt set even a broke man back that far.

Eminem will sell just fine no matter what month he drops. If they wanna max sales, they wont pick a certain month, they'll just promote the shit out of it.
