iTunes problem?

Anyways, this problem usually has to do with your antivirus. Did you recently update your itunes then this started happening? If so its because your antivirus doesnt know what the new itunes is and is blocking the apple mobile device support. Cuz, the AMDS has to connect to the internet sometimes, however, it is the software that allows your ipod to connect to itunes.

To fix this, make itunes an exception in your antivirus. You can actually go into your antivirus and choose programs that it will not block. Do this then restart your computer and you should be fine. If not, let me know.

If that doesnt work, you'll have to completely shut down your antivirus then uninstall itunes and reinstall it.

When you uninstall itunes you have to remove 5 things. Apple mobile device, apple software update, apple application support, quicktime and itunes.

If that doesnt work, and you've purchased that ipod in the last year ( meaning your in warranty ) , just call 1800myapple and they'll get you squared away
