Never heard either of these until Canibus' new album.

They're both great punchline-rappers and lyricists.

One of my favourite bits:

"It's apparent that if you take half of what passes for lyrics and compare them to mine / hip-hop should be fucking embarrassed"

Also...

"I'll spit a mother-fucking verse to fill your whole iPod"

And...

"I'm esoteric and don't care if you know what I mean / That's the spirit" < that's some great individualist lyricism there.

Typical emerging underground emcees imo, good lyrically but nothing else, this is why underground hip hop is so stale at the moment, hopefully when Def Jux get up and running again we'll see a few good albums come outta the underground scene
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified
