He also mentions... Well more often he mentions fictional characters as opposed to the show-names themselves if that's what you mean. As well as fables and things like this.

Obviously, Norman Bates Motel is a song from Em & 50, even though I've actually never heard of it. But he mentioned him in "Role Model" & references a few other times later on down the road as well.

"Norman Bates Motel" as a title would work a little due to Norman Bates being in the film called Psycho but since he says "psycho" in the chorus constantly it was probably always called that.

Yeah I think as well that they are/probably are/could be two different, separate tracks, and not just one forming into the other.

I never heard NBM, Keys To The City, or the other song, that came up on the site as news under the Shady Records forum, that mentioned a track by 50 featuring Eminem. People thought that it's just produced by Eminem though, much like that Kid Cudi song with the hook that got released last year.

^ Nah the "Keys to the City" song was / is real.

Premo talked about being disappointed it wasn't on Relapse. He originally talked about it and said it was like "The Way I Am" but more lyricial.

He then speculated after that they didn't include it probably because he jumped the gun in blabbing about it and ruining the surprise and they probably wanted him not to.

But I think it's more likely the track was in fact for Em's original slow / emotive album, which was possibly going to be called King Mathers. He probably just scrapped the track.

Since all 'those' tracks were produced by himself and he originally produced "Keys to the City" and just called Premo to ask for him to touch it up / add to it. Where as with the Relapse sessions with Dre, Dre handled everything apart from a bit of co-production from Em on "We Made You".
