Bitch Please I or Bitch Please II?

Postby dR3 » Mar 9th, '10, 23:50

Which one do you like more?

For me, it's the first one. Better beat, better deliveries, better lyrics.

The sequel. One of the coolest collabs I've ever heard. The 1st one is great too, but the chorus sucked dick IMO.

II is better IMO.

1st one is great because of Xzibit. As usual a fucking awesome verse with a magnetic flow. Snoop's verse is pretty much the same on the 2nd. He does the same shit every time and doesn't keep a consistent flow.

He used to be really good but got lazy. Just says the same shit all the time in the same way.

I think the chorus and beat are both better on the sequel too and Em's verse and the one he wrote for Dre make it something very nice.

1, easily.
Em isn't on it to ruin it.

Ruin it? I think his verse on it is great.

Perfect little summation of his subversive and provocational lyricism of that era and great flow.

You misunderstood.
By "ruin" I mean he sets the stanard far too high for those collaborating with him.
Thus, you get about a minute of a lyrical showcase, with three minutes of garbage around it.
Since only Em has the final say in who he collaborates with, I blame him for damaging songs with lesser artists, not those artists themselves.

Yes... I guess I did misunderstand. Who would of thought that when you just said Em ruined the song you really meant he did that by being too good... Lmao.

I think blaming Em for other people being worse than him is silly / odd too lmao. He's setting the standard, they also have final say on their contribution to the song. So it's up to them to meet the standard. If they can't - means they're not good enough and haven't practised long enough and / or put enough effort in = their fault.
