Chronology of Relapse

The other day I read an article about Em saying that throughout making Relapse he was getting the drugs out of his system. And it wasn't to later in the album where he was clear minded making songs like "Stay Wide Awake." So it kind of got mr wondering, what was the Chronology of Relapse...here's what I got.

All these songs have a lot of random shit in them. Most of then have no real meaning, just comical songs with a bunch of random lines in them...I think all of these songs were done at about the same time. This was Em's was of getting back in the swing of things.

All of these songs have a message they are trying to get across, or the song is actually about something. All lyrics are on point to what they are talking about, I believe all these songs were done at the same time just about.

Em starts to be serious and this carries over to Relapse 2...which is why I think he decided to make it more of a serious album.

There's an anachronism in your timeline.
You said My Mom was a "getting back in the swing of things" song, but in actuality, it was one of the first songs (if not THE first song) Em did with Dre post writers block.
He revealed this on the track by track on Shade45.

I don't think he would have made any tracks for the album after March (when it was announced). I think from March to May he started making Relapse 2 songs (ie: Refill). Except Elevator sounds like it was made in early 2008, possibly.

Yea the first list i'm not crazy about no offense, but idk how you can think Hello, Medicine Ball, and BPfromBD are mediocre? Those songs are the Eminem everyone begs for...My mom he said was writtin when he was getting off drugs so he said it lacked some energry, but i still even thing my mom is fucking dope

I think this an interesting idea, I think you should go by what other people said and redo the timeline, if when specific songs were made is definitely known, and not guess at the others

He mentioned this in the interview from late 2009 - his last interview. Damn cant remember the name of the magazine. But Must Be The Ganja was one of the first he made.

I'm gunna try and find that interview.

I think what amadeo said would be pretty close, its hard to work out when the Refill songs were made though, i would guess during the same time period seeing as Em said he had 2 possibly 3 albums worth.

Yes, it is. Listen to his delivery, flow and accent. It's the same as Beautiful and CWYWF - both of which were recorded around 2007.

Every other song on Relapse has a completely different sounding voice, delivery and flow to those 3.

Wrong!! He actually stoped doing drugs in the end of 2007 (Xmas) when he collapse in his bathroom. Of course he had few mounts for detoxication but he stoped taking pills december 2007 - januer 2008!
