TMMLP has always been my favorite Eminem album but I love TES so much that it's always hard to make one of them my favorite.

The MMLP for me, why? Because I think Em perfected everything that he is known for on that album, witty, dark, controversial, and he seriously didn't give a fuck about what he said on that album or who he offended. Plus technically Em was at his best on there, storytelling was top notch, his delivery was vicious, his mic presence was dominant, his rhyming was outstanding, the only bad thing about that album to me is the D12 features on Under The Influence

That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael

Same as this really.

randomghost wrote:MMLP The raw emotion, controversy caused, and different sides to Eminem. Not one bad track minus Kim and The Kids (if you count that track.) It was Eminem at his prime.
Kim was a masterpiece. The Kids is only on the bonus CD or the uncensored version.

The Marshall Mathers LP for me. My favorite from it is probably Stan.

The Kids is on the edited version.

Both classics but TES has more individual classics. Nobody remembers "Under The Influence" or "Remember Me"...people remember "Saying Goodbye To Hollywood" or "Soldier"..Plus Em produced 90 percent of it so...

Both classics but TES has more individual classics.

TES Classic Em Songs
Cleanin' Out My Closet
Soldier
Say Goodbye Hollywood
Without Me
Sing For The Moment
SuperMan (Just like Drug Ballad, debatable)
Hailie's Song
Till I Collapse
Arguable Classics
Square Dance, My Dad's Gone Crazy, White America

MMLP Classic Em Songs
Kill You
Stan
The Way I Am
The Real Slim Shady
Drug Ballad (Debatable, but if it isn't on there then "I'm Back" surely is)
Marshall Mathers
Kim
Criminal
Arguable Classics
Under The Influence :tounge2: , I'm Back, Who Knew

Shit is neck and neck.

MMLP, easy.

The Way I Am, Stan, Kim, and Marshall Mathers were all in other dimensions, true creativity. The album had this factor to it that you can't really pinpoint, but the album had a really raw energy. It sounded like an underground album, and his mentality during this time was nuts.

TES was too polished, too clean, he left the underground. Songs like White America were shitty to me(I mean the whole I'm a spokesperon for kids now). The only songs I like off that album are Cleaning Out My Closet, Sing for the Moment, and Till I Collapse. I remember when this album came out, the reacation wasn't good at all, people were saying he fell off (lol, I wonder where those people are when Relapse came out, shit happens with every album).

I think TES had wayyy to much filler (Say What You Say, Drips, Business, etc). I wasn't feeling it, and again, I don't give a fuck about technical aspects like some other people do. Anyone can string up multis together, but it's the creativity and ideas behind that rhyming is what will set you apart. It was an accomplishment for Eminem because he wen't from barely knowing how to produce, to producing a pretty good album, but he lost a step after MMLP.
