Personally, I enjoy MMLP more. But I wouldn't way either is 'better' per se.

They were both perfect albums, that fit perfectly with where he was as an artist at that time.

MMLP , I place it quite a bit higher than Eminem Show, though both are classics no doubt

MMLP for me because it really got me into Eminem and every single song is a goddamn classic. Nothing against TES, though.

For me it's a tie.

TMMLP is more consistent track for track, but the best songs on TES are better than the best songs on TMMLP.

No he didn't get soft, he grew as an artist.

WTF about TES is 'soft'? lmao. Just because he's not screaming about chopping people up or shooting faggots with mac 10's?

TES is a much better album lyrically and thematically and nothing about it is soft. "PISTOL WHIPPING MOTHER FUCKING BOUNCERS 6-2" oh yeah, very soft lmao.

The Kids is on the edited version.

Yeah I meant to say censored and not uncensored. *refuses to use facepalm smiley*.

And the only song on MMLP that is forgettable to me is Amityville. Em's first and Bizarres verse have no real relevence to what the song is about - the 3rd verse sums it up - but I hate the beat and find it a very boring song.

Remember Me is a perfect track for the album - all 3 arists murder it.

Strongly disagree with your comments on Amityville, "We dont do drive-bys, we park infront of houses and shoot, and when the police come we fuckin shoot it out with them to" that is one of the LEAST forgettable lines on the whole MMPL to me.

Ems whole verse is epic, slightly more epic than his "Remember Me" verse IMO.

Em's verse on Amityville maybe slightly better than his verse on Remember Me but Remember ME as a whole is far better. The dark eerie tone with that "spray paint" beat and the fantastic chrous make for a class song, IMO.

"When I go out, I'ma go out shooting/I dont mean when I die, when I go to the club stupid" is one of the best lines on the whole album and the features are genius.

you described "Amityville" as a boring song and you said you hated the beat, I'm not saying "Remember Me" is rubbish, it's also classic, but the raw energy and breath taking wordplay of Em's verse on "Amityville" is enough to put it right up there along side of "Remember Me", if not ahead of it IMO, it's all taste in music of coarse, but when you break it down and compare Em's verses I think there's one clear winner, the feature obviously goes to RM, but it's special verses on songs like "Amityville" that make people say he's the greatest ever, IMO.

No but it has a "White America", "Square Dance", "Till I Collapse" and "Sing for the Moment". He may not have explored as many creative avenues but his artistry took new form.

Those songs are zeitgiest songs, totally overpowering, voice of a generation. Untouchable.
