definitely The Eminem Show
I'm only entertaining you
My goal is to stimulate, making you high
And take you and I
To a place you can't see
But I believe you can fly
I don't mean nobody harm, I'm just partying
I'm not your dad, not your mom, not your guardian
Just a man who's on the mic
So let me entertain you...

No but it has a "White America", "Square Dance", "Till I Collapse" and "Sing for the Moment". He may not have explored as many creative avenues but his artistry took new form.

Those songs are zeitgiest songs, totally overpowering, voice of a generation. Untouchable.

It's just a matter of opinions, not like we're gonna change others view really.

I didn't say we would. But we're both just exercising our opinions for the sake of entertainment-debate. No other reason.

If you take that view, may as well not post on a forum at all lmao.

The Marshall Mathers LP is his greatest work, but replace "Hailie's Song" with "Stimulate" and I might reverse my opinion. They're both undeniable masterpieces in my mind, and two of the greatest works of art of the millenium thus far. If mankind makes it to the year 3000 (and I don't believe we will, but if we somehow do), people will still listen to Eminem's second and third major-label albums, and both albums will still sound fresh. Though radically different, Eminem is every bit the artist that The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, and John Darnielle are. Nobody will listen to Ke$ha in 3000. Nobody will listen to Ke$ha in 2015.

Defiently MMLP. Seems like there is more energy and anger put on that album. You can almost feel what he has gone through. Im Back and Marshall Mathers are classics. Now dont get me wrong, i love TES but it doesnt have as many great songs as MMLP.

MMLP.
The best album ever made.

My favorite on it has to be Marshall Mathers.
That song captures the whole feeling of the album. :worship:

This is a very hard choice but personally TES is slightly better in my opinion and was the first Eminem album I heard. :y:

MMLP for me. Imo the best MMLP songs beat out the best TES songs (apart for 'Till I collapse). MMLP has a much more raw feel and sound while TES has a more complete and commercial sound and I prefer the rawer sound.

Overall, when all things are considered I'd have to say MMLP. I thought TES was the best produced album but MMLP was just a milestone in hip hop and changed the game
