Boy A was based on the Bulger case?! Wow, never knew that. That was one fucked up incident. I'm obsessed with murders and stuff but this was one I never wanted to research.

I read the book first then the programme and the book is WAY better. You know at the end when he meets the girl on the pier - which is just stupid as fuck cus the world isnt that lucky.Well, in the book he robs this boat and just rides of into the horizon.

Was one emotional book and programme I must say.

Well my theory is that him meeting the girl at the pier was all in his head.
