Relapse 2 Info From Interscope Worker

I'm still baffled that it's still called Relapse 2, by the way.

It's ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous if he doesn't change. Makes no sense whatsoever.

I think he is still referring to it as Relapse 2 because that's the name that people know it by, and it's what he has called it in every interview that he's done up till this point. Once he comes out with an official announcement about the album and release date, he will prob call it by it's new title at that point, do it all at once.

sorry but you said like the guy said it on national tv or something, he posted it on thisis50 (not even an Em's fansite), in a normal thread, not in a big blog or sticky thread, the inside post sounds like pure excitement for me, didn't even mention when the album hits store.
Also, I'm sure Interscope has bigger marketing plan than telling blogger to post random on internet where 90% people bootleg cd. Like really, you think people that didn't think of buying the album before are gonna to buy it now more because of that post?

OF course they do bigger marketing.

But people are more likely to be influenced by a guy who works for Interscope and has given correct information on a message site before who then posts 'heard this song, it's fucking great' than advertisments, where people will think 'well they would say that'.

It's subtle messages like this that get people talking.

well like I said, it's not like people will decide to buy the cd JUST because the guy said it's great, especially in the time where cd leaks like 1 month before actual release and anyone can download it for free to judge for themselves. I don't see how this kinds of random post can make more money for Interscope in anyway.

It's all round marketing. I'm not saying the guy will make millions for Interscope but little things to get the album hyped up can't do any harm.

And just cus people CAN download it doesnt mean Interscope stop doing adverts does it.
