Neither of those tracks are Relapse leftovers. They're both from his sluggish 07 period, of which time he also did "Beautiful" hence the flow, style and rhythm on them. And his own production.

They were intended along with "Beautiful" for the album that he scrapped before doing Relapse.

As for not believing a track from Relapse leftovers could be a great track, people keep forgetting the volume at which Em records. He doesn't record dud tracks. He records great tracks sure. But he doesn't make the music unless he's happy with it in the first place because he writes very obsessively.

Usually he doesn't put a song on there just because... Well he records so much, he can't put 100 songs on one album so he has to leave some off, it's inevitable. Doesn't mean they're 'leftovers' or lesser in quality though. Just may not have fit as well with the theme.

Think for example of "Till Hell Freezes Over" and "Fucking Crazy" oh and "Get You Mad". All technically SSLP 'leftovers' but IMO better than most of the tracks on the album. They would of enhanced it greatly. Also, think of "Stimulate". Not to mention other 'leftovers'. They're just tracks he chose not to include over others for whatever reason. Doesn't mean they were quality-rejects lol.
