Bagpipes from Baghdad appreciation thread

Postby Berry » Mar 16th, '10, 05:46

I've always loved this fuckin' track... IMO its one of the illest songs he's ever made. The rhyming is unstoppable.

The flow is liquid, This & STW both portray just how much his flow has improved. (Far more impressive than TES)

I'm not playin’ I want her back you punk,
This is Hello Kitty bedspread satin funk,
Mixed with Egyptian with a little rap & punk
Zap Eric Clapton Shaft brings abba crunk

:worship:

The beat is crazy too, my car sound system can barely handle it.

Sooooooooooooo... I want to keep this positive. I just want to know if anyone else likes this track as much as me?

I think Em has one of the smoothest, silkiest flows I've ever heard from him on BFB.
His voice flows like rich liquid.

Yeah it's a fucking wonderful track.

Was always one of my instant Relapse favourites. Flow is hardcore but totally rythmic and melodic like the rest of the album. Almost sing-song, carnival like. So loud and clear.

Relapse is a pure work of art in terms of flow. Especially this track. The way he constantly cuts off words mid-syllable and starts the next on a new note, creates rhymes from breaking up the words, bending them, it's just awesome.

I actually liked this song the first time I heard it. Can't say the same for too many other songs on R1.

I'm with you. I instantly loved this track.. he rides the beat so well especially during the last verse

I didn't like this song at first. But it grew on to me. The way he constructs the third verse is amazing. Rhyming pretty much everything but 2 bars with conjoined twins...ointment, appointment, coin flip, coin chip, etc.

Easily one of the best beats on the album, that's for sure.
Though I'm not the biggest fan of the track.

But it's a good song however! :y:
