Albums don't get certified ANYTHING worldwide. The certification systems are country based, and the numbers needed to go platinum, gold etc. differs from country to country. As an example: In Norway 30.000 units sold is counted as platinum, while in the UK you would need to sell 300.000 copies to get platinum status. So since the requirement for platinum status differs from country to country, it's impossible to certify something worldwide, but if you really want to say how many times an album has gone platinum based on YOUR countrys requirements I'll do the same. According to my calculations The Eminem Show has gone 666x platinum WW and Relapse has gone 60x platinum WW and in total Eminem has recieved 2666 platinum cds from Norway.
Obviously certifying albums that way doesn't work at all that's why it is not done AT ALL. So you saying that C3 has been offcially (because CDs can not be unofficial certified anything) certified 5x platinum WW is a straight out lie. This makes the other statements about sales in your post unreliable since you didn't give any source to your numbers at all and the rest of your number probably came from the exact same source that we have allready established is unreliable.
LilWayne4Life wrote:Why? was TES eminem's last rap album? you do know sales went down 45% since TES was release right? i was comparing wayne last rap album to eminem's last rap album.

No you were comparing Eminem latest album which was Relapse with an earlier album released by Lil Wayne. Since you are adamant about not comparing any Eminem album with Rebirth (which you said would go platinum first week on many occasions) I'll use two albums which was released almost within 2 years from each other, Encore and Carter 2.
On 12/17/2004 Encore was certified 4x platinum (this was a month after release)
On 03/23/2006 Tha Carter 2 was certified 2x platinum(this was over 3 moths after release) (If you insist on using Carter 3 sale figures it was certfied 3x platinum almost eight months after release).
Oh and here I was talking about certifications from in the USA done by the RIAA (the guys handing out platinum discs), not some made up worldwide certification system.

Ps. If you want to pull that "you can't compare TES with C3 cause of the decrease in sales" card, then Eminem fans can pull the "you can't compare Relapse with C3 because of the regression" card.
