Heard it. Ain't heard anything from Freeway really though.

But he has some really nice fucking flows. Really clear, distinct and tight. He's 10 times what 50, Ca$his or anybody bar perhaps Obie is. Would rather Em sign someone like him than those lame fucks (not calling Obie lame btw. Obie's class).

Yeah but he still was never that great. It's not about making 'hits' it's about making good rap music. Good lyricism, good concepts, flows, ideas etc.

I couldn't give a fuck if Relapse 2 bombed and sold 10k 1st week if it topped all his other albums artistically, that's all that matters.

50 was only ever good at hook writing. He never had anything to fall off of. He was always on ground level. Well on Power of the Dollar he was maybe on a step or two, then he jumped down to ground level from that point on.

He was never very witty bar the odd line or two every album, his flow was always lazy. It was only ever really his hooks and as soon as he lost the crystal Em and Dre production and the less support he got, the more he failed. And thus explains his success - Catchy hooks & Em / Dre backing = 50 Cent.

Without that he's just a confused, egotistical wannabe digging himself into a hole.

He's decent with the lyrics, granted. But he has the brilliant knack at his age of making a good song to listen to. Something Em has not grasped since his ES days speakig generally.

I agree with you that Freeway's cadence is great, crisp vocals, nice flow, and a unique delivery, he's not great lyrically, but hes more than capable of dropping some hot verses,I dont think he's sign with Shady though, he's on Rhymesayers, which along with Duckdown, are the best label around at the moment, but yeah Em does need to start signing some proper talent and help them put albums out
