As a football players, you are told exactly what to do by your coach. There's no creativity or imagination, You just have to remember what to do and do it. In soccer, on the other hand, a coach can only give you an idea but it's up to you to imagine the field and where the balls going to be and where you should put yourself in order to be in the best position possible for your team.
The only players that might get that individuality is a QB or a RB, but even then it's just multiple choice and you have to pick an option. A RB is told what hole to run through so he's told exactly what to do till he breaks to the secondary.
BTW, I love both football and soccer. I just wrote this because it's true.

Hehe na, as someone said, it really comes down to culture, what you was brought up to. Like, personally I find American Football mind numbingly boring.. but if I grew up in the US and supported a team, I'd find it a lot more entertaining. Same goes with people who don't think much of soccer.
