Well it annoyed me that Kuniva said it's not important to respond to Canibus.

When apparently... Rushing out a vicious diss track aimed at a pop star and paper TV personality over a petty argument about a brief fling nearly a decade ago, which HE started and an unprovoked insult purely due to association IS?

I mean I could accept it if Em didn't respond to anybody. But to act so quickly and furiously on such a stupid incident and... Proving it doesn't exactly strain his creative time to make a diss track... Then to just ignore Pacewon, Rick Ross and Canibus and say it's not important.

I mean Canibus sampled Em's voice on "Air Strike" with Em saying like... "I just want people to know, no matter how big I get, if you're an MC and you mention my name, I'ma come back". He shouldn't state things to strongly when he can't stick to what he says.

Nick, he's a grown man with kids and a mortgage, not a Roman gladiator.

That's a totally useless defence when I've just highlighted what I have.

You're making it sound like it's all petty and pointless, especially with his kids and mature life now etc. Well if that's the case why re-hash a decade old argument about a silly little fling, an argument out of thin air with her new husband and then rush out an insane diss track over the shit?

You can't have your cake and eat it. Doing that and then pretending he's too mature to respond to rappers is ridiculous.

No, you're missing the point. You seem to think that Em needs to use his music for a macho ego trip, just because he went after mrs. Carey. But what people fail to understand is that that was his decision as an adult to make.
And why should every decision he makes be linked into one constant?
The fact is, the situation by situation decision pertaining to tactics or lack thereof that Em so chooses are all separate.
And they're all his to make, not ours.
Again, this is music, not warfare. Each artist's choice is their own and bears no connections with external musical entities, unless that entity abides (in obvious ways).

No I'm not missing any point of yours and no I do not think Em needs to use his music for a 'macho ego trip'.

Point is this. Eminem is acting like he's too MATURE for beefs now. It has nothing to do with the fact Mariah is a woman and they are men. It's very simple - After "Like Toy Soldiers" he was acting like beefing was silly and he had grown up and yada yada.

But then to put out a totally insane diss track over something so ridiculously petty and unimportant which HE STARTED then to ignore Canibus say who is a respected lyricist in the rap game... Is very immature and evasive. End of.

I've said all I want to on this anyway. You can carry on defending Em's totally incoherent behaviour in this realm and bring in your little reasoning tools (kids, my perception of what his music should be etc. etc.) but I won't be reading. We'll go around and around. Bye in this thread.

Quote from Kuniva from the Friday Night Live Show Interview:
Question: Have you had the pleasure hearing Relapse 2, start to finish yet?
Kuniva: No, not start to finish. I've heard a bit like 8 songs from it, and its crazy, real dope. It's coming together real good. I don't know what he's keeping, or what he is throwing out, or what he is putting to the side for the next project, but the music that he is banging out right now is top-notch, it's good

It surely sounds like Eminem is planning another album after R2 already!?

Yeah, I don't think it's completely done but they're finishing it up real soon (is my guess).
