Challenging The Listener (Hell Breaks Loose)

Postby MedicineBallz » Mar 23rd, '10, 14:21

I want you to listen to Hell Breaks Loose but when Dr. Dre comes on, in your mind, envision Eminem rapping the verse instead of Dre.

I believe at one point this entire song was just Eminem. Dre's verses sound too much like Eminem's lyrics to me. With that said, I think there is a possibility that Em wrote Dre's verses, rapped the song, and then Dre just came in and covered his part.

This song would be incredible if it was just Eminem and not Dre. Still good nonetheless.

Thats what they did on Crack A Bottle, If you listen to number one by eminem its Em rapping Dre's verse to give him a heading, it's known that Dre has a lot of ppl ghostwriting for him tho

Yes, Em wrote Dre's part and probably created the flow.

End of thread.

Well, I don't care really what you're like on the inside and I just really want you to come to bed with me. Would you do that if you could? Even if you were just average on the outside (but not fat) I could like you if you sounded smart.

Yeah that's what I thought too. Em probably made some minor changes to fit in 'Dre's style'.

I don't like the new Dr. Dre parts, it's just doesn't seem to add anything (Probably because Eminem gostwrites his part).

Everything is absolutely great about this song, except Em's part in the 3rd verse. And its pretty obvious that Em wrote Dre's verses. But okay, Dre delivered them pretty good. My favorite one of the Refill.

dre should just retire unless he really feels detox will bring shit back

Dre is a producer 1st and foremost,so there is no need for him to retire even if he never releases Detox.

Are you only just aware of this?

Eminem always writes for Dre lmao. Dre never writes for himself. Even in NWA he never.

Em wrote all of "Forgot About Dre". He also obviously wrote all of "Say What You Say" and of course "Hell Break's Loose" and showed him how to flow. Funny people call Dre Em's mentor. Apart from when they started out, showing him the boards etc. But Em writes all his shit and shows him how to rap.

Why do people hate this song?

There's nothing to hate about it. Quick paced Funky beat, Dre & Em spit some liquid flow.

I also feel that he ghostwrote 50's verses on Psycho. It's very obvious that it wasn't all them.
