Marijuana Legalization in the United States

It should be legalized.
It's not nearly as bad as alcohol or cigarettes, more people die from those two than from cannabis.
So if they just made up some laws around it, like no driving under the influence of cannabis etc. I think it could work out really well. Let's face is, people who smoke weed isn't aggressive, so that wouldn't be a problem. And in my opinion, it's better to just smoke a blunt with some friends and chill instead of getting hammered and do some crazy shit at the clubs.

Just because more people die from cigs and alchohol dont mean shit. That could just be because they are legal. Ill bet you anything that if weed got legal,some jack ass who never did it before but will now because its legal is gunna smoke a shit load of weed and get into a car accident somewhere and die.

Legalizing weed across the whole country would have more benefits then not, Legalizing it randomly in certain states can cause a lot of problems for state because the amount of people living there, and for the other states surounding it because of all the pot that will be moving around

there is never enough money in circulation to even pay it off

lol yup...I was just smoking a joint yesterday, walking down a street and I saw a cop drive by and I just hid the joint..he noticed but didn't care. I'm not doing anything to disturb the peace, I'm not driving, so there really is no issue.

but alcoholic drinks are socially acceptes since ~2000 years in the wester-society (not to talk about cultures before that time) - the way it's still legal it's called tradition and sociall habit

Yes but my point is that weed is equally as safe as alcohol and cigarettes and therefore shouldn't be singled out as illegal. Other drugs, sure, but not weed.
