same type of people who like Freeway's Freelapse just because it had Em beats....that album had the same mainstream lyricism everyone claims to hate

Same type of people who like Slaughterhouse because they had a cameo appearance in the Forever video and because Em might sign them.

Gotta love Hip Hop. :smoking:

Dont be so fucking stupid. I'm an Eminem fan, not a dick rider. I heard that B.o.B was working with Em and watch some related videos and enjoyed. Actaully fuck this, I'll just quote what I wrote before.

MikeNufc wrote:If Em, without realizing, influences someone to listen to a promising young artist that can only be a good thing for a talented young guy who may not get recognition otherwise.

Thats the only reason he told the world he was working with Em, to get more exposure becuase Em is a popular artist.

I'd never even heard of him until I saw a thread on this forum (or the Eminem.com forum, cant remember which). I saw the interview on youtube, watched a couple of related videos of his song and I instantly enjoyed it. So downloaded his mixtape.

Your making it out as if people are only liking him because he worked with Em. It's more that people are only listening to him because of that. If he was crap after listening to him, then I'd say it. But it's quite obvious he isn't and is hugely talented.

I welcome it.

I didn't think you were talking about me, I mean generally. The difference is most people are listening to them becuase they work with Em, not liking them just becuase they are working with Em.

If someone changes their opinion on a musician (or anything else) JUST because of Eminem they are a dickrider...... I didn't mean that people who are introduced to new rappers/groups by Eminem are dickriders.

I agree with that. But when it comes to B.o.B. I think most people only started listening to him becuase of Em. I'm not sure people had even heard his stuff before that - I know I hadnt.

B.o.B's been one of my favorite artists for a good while now. I had slept on most of Slaughterhouse till I heard about the rumors of them signing with Shady so I listened to maybe two songs off their album from YouTube, and had to buy the album. One of the best of last year. I'm gonna be a fan no matter what happens with them and Em. :y:
