Drake is much more in the spotlight in America right now than Em is. Em's single is vital.

Eminems 1st single has never been vital(he sells albums not singles)

fact that people still like all his first poppy singles before way more than WMY though, and they were all more popular & charted higher too.

In todays day and age most people have heard the album before they buy them,so they will make there minds up from hearing the full cd.

Singles are not as important as the were in the past and Eminems 1st singles have never really been an indication of what the album is like.

He has no.1s but he is nowhere near as prolific at selling singles as he is at selling albums which makes sense cause why buy a single if your gonna buy someones album?

HE sold 1.7 on the MMLP but that was a complete different time not only for Em, but in terms of music buying in general.
