Drake is Overhyped

So why can't people share their opinion that they dont enjoy his music, in the same way people can share theirs that they like him? Then people can debate with each other about why they like or dont like that particular artist. The whole point of a forum.

Friend of mine loves him, he's played me stuff that has great lines so i can't say he hasn't got talent. I do think that he's overhyped but when you have Lil Wayne, the most overhyped ever, backing you then you're bound to be. Personally he just doesn't grab me as much, his voice is very typical and sounds exactly the same as half the mainstream rappers. And his content seems to be mostly bragging from what i've heard, but like i said, not saying he doesn't have skill.

most of the tracks on so far gone are pretty good, it feels original and unique compared to most other hip hop albums atm, but ive gotta say the first 2 singles from thank me later have been shit

Over was a really good song IMO. But I think Drake is a pretty much average rapper with nothing really special. He's just good and undeserving of so much hype but let's sit back and see if he delivers.
