That twitter is made solely for promotion of Eminem as a solo artist. It's his promotional team or Paul posting for him and they only ever post when something involving one of his projects is happening.

So aside from the fact Slaughterhouse aren't big news to anyone outside of the dedicated fringe of hip-hop fanhood and because of the aforementioned reason - I can only see it being Relapse 2 related.

Could be an album date, 1st single date, whatever. But I don't see it being anything other than Relapse 2 or maybe American tour dates for him.

I don't see it being tour dates yet, idk why he would announce that before R2 info since the tour would likely be based around new songs. Also, in his interview on Shade 45 for their 5 year anniversary, he said he wanted to get this album released before he moved on to thinking about touring.

As far as what the fans want, it's not the biggest news. But signing SH would be MASSIVE.

I mean every Em fan wants a BME reunion, and any who doesn't just follow Em knows that there's 4 cats who can more than keep up with him lyrically. Competition brings out the best in people.

Royce and Crooked I are two of the sickest in the game right now, and have been for the last 10 years. Unless you've been in a cave or you've been staring at that Em shrine too much, then you know that SH have ripped apart the last 12 months

If i get an intro track from these guys i wont give a fuck.. let R2 stay on the shelf for a little while longer..

He did sound like he was enjoying himself on Relapse,i think thats a main reason why people dont like it.He likes serial killer documentaries and he came off drugs and combined the 2 into a concept,i think he knew it would have mixed reaction so i think it was more to keep him happy than the fans.

I think he has been making real good music and with a change of content and a tad more venom it will be like 02 all over again.His lyricism is there,his voice was shot(The Re-Up/Pistol Poppin)but its fine now he has all the tools to be as good as he has ever been and Royce even said he was gonna step out of the way til Relapse 2 is done

^ Well I think that's the true key to him making great music. Making music to please nobody but himself.

The best things are singular visions. That's why committe's who try to shape and water down films always fail and end up with something totally worthless artistically.

All of the best comedies I can think of are single-visions or you know... One or two people sharing the same idealistic view on it...

- Extras
- Curb Your Enthusiasm
- Arrested Development

Also, some of the most compelling movies are by total individualists like Tarantino and Scorsasse. It's what makes art compelling, because the single collective vision of one man is much more exciting than an attempted, collaberative vision. Because you have to compromise.

I think that's why Em lost his way with Encore. He was trying to second-guess what people wanted and expected, it was no longer just for his own benefit.

Which is partially why I like Relapse, it feels like he's just doing it for himself again and that's exciting as I think we're in for some compelling music again.

He sounded like he was enjoying it, yes. But in a "i dont mind making music for the fans anymore, and i'm not gonna moan about the attention". But i mean enjoying the music like he did with Proof. Sounding like he's just rhyming with a friend, rather than making a song. Royce can bring that out of him. I'm not saying R2 won't be brilliant and a return to form. It's just the inclusion of Royce could help things two-fold.

They're so alike in so many ways with their styles, yet so different to listen to as an audio, that they end up raping a style in two different ways, and feed off each other.

I know some people on here think Royce is merrh or don't listen to his stuff. But he is KEY. He isn't vital, Em is going to smash R2 i know. But it'd be the last piece of the puzzle for him artistically. It'd be like him going back to SSLP all over again.. Dre active (if you believe the rumours), him hungry and back with his punchline game (if you believe Mr Porter) and with Royce by his side giving him something D12 never could (as much as i think they're good).

^ Well I definitely would agree Royce brings or rather... Will bring the best out of him and I certainly don't consider his stuff meh. He's a great lyricist, not on Em's level IMO but definitely superb.

Street Hop was one of the most solid albums of 2009.

But I think an even bigger key is the realization he needs to please nobody but himself. I think it's only when Em listens to other people or tries to second-guess what his fans want he fucks up.

But yeah, a BME reuinion would be supreme for hip-hop. It looks almost certain now, think of all the wasted years over silly beef. They work magic together.
