MikeNufc wrote:Fuck a double album. I want 15 tracks of killer material. Not 30 tracks of 20 great and 10 okay-ish. I want the best of what he's done; not the best and some extras that I made at the end.

The thing is, though, from what we've heard from those who've heard it, there is no "okay-ish" material.

So, you expect Mr Porter, JB and Alchemist to come out and say "some of its okay, nothing special"? OF course there not, whether they think that or not. There working on the album, there gunna want to praise it as much as possible., regardless of quality.

All I'm saying is, Em knows that the album will have a theme and he'll pick 15 tracks accordingly. 30 tracks and your guareented at quite a fe songs that dont suit the theme whatsover.

That's a good point. I didn't think of that. :y:

I wish there were no skits on the album. He should just put the best 78 minutes of the music he's recorded on the album.

As long as he's making the album better, he can keep it quiet. Plus, the serecy around the album will make the first single even more special.

Paul skits are pointless, Ken Kaniff skits aren't funny. I like the Steve Berman skits and want like something original thats fits with the theme - intro maybe? - but I agree 5 skits is too many. Unnecessary.

its understandable though, when one week its "a pinch of salt away from completion" and then the next theres "a lot of work to do".

The article that quoted Just Blaze saying "a pinch of salt away from completion" was FAKE. It was from a bullshit website. There a LOT of those in rap...more bullshit websites than legitimate ones. If you've been following rap news on the internet for any length of time you would know that.

This album was never going to come out as soon as people here were expecting...people are just delusional. He didn't put out Refill just for the hell of it; it was his way of saying, "it's gonna be a while people, so here's some shit to tide you over."

I'm projecting 4th quarter, 2011. Eminem's albums have tended to follow the pattern of being about 2 years apart.

2011? No way, he's going on Tour in the summer, and that's NOT for relapse one or refill, it's def. gotta have the new songs on it.

4th quarter 2011? LOL. I somehow doubt that will happen.

Christ almighty. You had an alum less than a year ago, an EP less a couple of months back. What were you like between MMLP and TES? TES and Encore? In his hiatus?!

He's taking his time to make an album better for YOU!! For your ears. So let him make it better. He started recording in Septemeber but seemed to change again end of December. Thats 3 months working on an album. Give him a chance.

oh come on. you know full well that a "pinch of salt away" and "still a lot of work to do" are contrasting statements. don't bother trying to give an alternative interpretation, its really just pointless.

At this rate, we're gonna have like 4 Refills before R2 drops.

Get on with it. :facepalm

Also, about the collabing thing, I bet Em is collabing with Gaga.

I would kill motherfuckers to see Gaga on a track like Stan.

He should give us an EP or have somebody leak some shit, or something. Anything.

And who the fuck is Jay Electronica?

I agree. Maybe a short intro ("PSA 2010" or something) and a Berman skit no longer than a minute.
