Could be a tactic to catch everyone off guard, making it "exciting". I also still believe that the tweet from Em has to do with Relapse 2, the "mystery" that Blaze refers to could be all of these mixed messages that people are given out about the album. I would not be surprised at all if next week we get a release date just to catch people off guard.

I'll believe that shit when I see it.

I remember I tweeted Royce saying how much I enjoyed Street Hop and he replied with a simple "Thank U". Got me all excited. Thats the only thing I've ever done on Twitter.

And btw Mike, he's been working since October on R2...that's when he announced that the album will be "emotional driven" so that's like 5 1/2 working on the album non-stop. So he should be done because albums usually take 5-7 months to thoroughly complete.

I know.

But at the end of December, Mr Porter said the album was complete and described it. Then we hear Em's making more music so I reckon he scrapped that as well or just made more so he has more choice for a final tracklist.

Em's a perfectionis. Most artists take 2 years to release their next album, so to get the next one in a year/just over a year is brilliant. Plus an EP. Cant argue with that, really.

He said he was pretty much finished with Relapse 2 in this interview which was over 5 months ago.He must of pushed some of those songs out for better ones so this album could be dopeness front to back.

I don't doubt Em doing an Axl Rose and working on R2 for 14 years :p

We've all known that he scrapped the original R2.

He recorded Relapse 2 in 08 with Relapse originally, this is after he changed direction and started with Just Blaze etc. He had the new Relapse 2(not the one like the original Relapse)ready to go but he must of improved it over these last few months.

The idea that he needs to take more time on it to make it better is, to me, a misconception. If he truly has been in a lyrical zone, as everyone seems to say that hes been, why does spending more time on it necessarily mean that it will be better? He could end up scrapping alot of dope songs that hes recorded already, just because he continues to work on it. Working on it more doesn't mean that we will definitely be getting better material.
