Em hasn't made a great song in too many years, only if you consider the Collabs he did with Lil Wayne great. I think everyone should wait and hear the record so then you the fans can decide if his on a "zone" right know, just because every person his working with is saying that it doesn't have to be true.

I'm basing it on the Westwood freestyles, The Warning, the BET Cypher, verses on DTW & Forever (despite being overrated were still agressive verse delivered well). Everything since Relapse has been on point.
But can you call them great work?

Yeah cause they were just verses/cyphers/disses. A whole song on the level of these would be fire.

His Westwood freestyles were the best freestyles of his career, I'd call Th Warning great work, despite the stupid beef surrounding it, and I'd call his verses on DTW and Forever great.

When the people around him say "the album is great" then I obviously cannot trust them because of bias but when there saying "his punchlines and metaphors are back" this somethign I believe becuase they wouldnt lie about that and IMO, thats the one thing he's been missing since his comeback.

All this combined, I think he is in a good shape to release a classic album.

The article that quoted Just Blaze saying "a pinch of salt away from completion" was FAKE. It was from a bullshit website. There a LOT of those in rap...more bullshit websites than legitimate ones. If you've been following rap news on the internet for any length of time you would know that.

This album was never going to come out as soon as people here were expecting...people are just delusional. He didn't put out Refill just for the hell of it; it was his way of saying, "it's gonna be a while people, so here's some shit to tide you over."

I'm projecting 4th quarter, 2011. Eminem's albums have tended to follow the pattern of being about 2 years apart.

If it's on the Aftermath site (which it is) then I will take it as legit.

http://www.aftermathmusic.com/ is not the official Aftermath site.

http://www.aftermath-entertainment.com/ is.

I got fooled too.

What a poorly written article

Plus, as previously reported, two cuts off the album [R2] leaked back in December.

That was Refill, not Relapse 2. I thought Spin was a decent magazine, and would get their facts right.

Eminem's team is trying to keep specific details under wraps, but Just Blaze hinted toward some sweet collaborations -- and Eminem himself has confirmed a track with 50 Cent. Plus, as previously reported, two cuts off the album leaked back in December.

Click the link and it says Elevator and Buffalo Bill. Basically, they fucked up and got Refill and R2 mixed up. Poorly written article.
