My point is though, that ANY rapper or listener alike would shit all over you if they found out you claimed a written as a freestyle.. That's the only respect people who freestyle earn.

I agree with your last post. People tend to mock you if you claim to be freestyling while in fact it is written. But, imo, that doesn't take away that it is a freestyle. The change in definition is kinda corny if you ask me.

It's fun as shit and it's usually how I start a written, I just freestyle a couple bars and then use that as a stencil for how I structure my stuff over a beat. Plus it thrives in battles, flips are the epitome of off the dome.

Well face to face battling is another story, I'll make that an exception for sure. Also to the bolded, I do exactly the same thing haha.
