cuz most of the kids i chill with HATE relapse... but theyll still bump his old shit.
and they always bitch about the accent. but them sometimes theyll be like.. eh, it sounded ok there.

it really does sound weird. I';ve always been a huge eminem fan, but it took me a while to really get used to the whole accent thing....the average fan just doesnt have the patience, and the average fan thinks the accent needs to go

I've said this a billion times.

The accent was a way for Em to work his way back into the game. You could tell he was uncomfortable first coming back, which shows with his performances, etc.

Since the Relapse sessions, we've heard nothing with the accent. He's back to his normal self, using his normal voice. He's back, and I'd be surprised if he used the accent for anything other than a joke song (which we're not getting anymore apparently).

Come on dude... you know he's gonna fuck around with his voice. He hates it when he sounds the same as his previous albums.

the accent is a lame attempt at a new flow. If he was Egyptian, then I'd be like alright this guy sounds wack but what can you expect from an egyptian rapper. But he is eminem, and he needs to go back to what got him here, his voice. MMLP & Eminem Show may be in the past but I dont understand why his voice can't just sound normal again.

People just let the accent annoy them. It didnt even sound that bad at all. As Berry said it renergized his flow and the whole point of it is its a voice for the serial killer persona that hes playing. Doing a normal voice when rapping about serial killing would sound stupid as fuck.

I always thought he put the accent because drugs temporarily fucked up his voice and he didn't like it so he tried the accent(s) to backmask the voice he had. Guess, I was wrong
