Dre confirms Detox in 2010...What does this mean for R2

Ive said on here so many times that Rx2 won't be out this year, and if it is, it wont be until at least October, I know people are dying to hear some new material from Em, but the more time he puts into it, the better it will be. I'd rather wait 6-7 more months for Rx2 to drop and be a great album than for it to be released in the next 2-3 months and be full of subpar material.

just blaze said the album is "getting there, but we still got a lot of work" regarding r2...
if anything i could see detox comming out first, especially if he has a single dropping in the next couple weeks. and if detox gets released first, r2 wont probly wont be out till 3rd quarter this year at the earliest... like someone else said.. they dont want to take away from detox sales with the release of relapse 2.. they would space the releases out to increase sales. u know people would buy detox to hold them over until the release of r2.

This is very aggravating in my eyes. Here we are, anticipating R2 all year and waiting for news, when Dre announces out of the blue that Detox might come out this year and possibly pushing back R2.

dre aint even finished off his album yet and single seems like spur of the moment thing. good chance is that dre will keep working on album and that track be promo or scraped as it be to long when the album drops.

Well, he's a really good RAPPER. He is arguably the best producer in the game and the only two albums he's made are classic albums. He was part of 'The world's most dangerous group' N.W.A and was affiliated with the best rapper of all time....Tupac Shakur. He deserves all the respect he has.

God man this sucks. He had ALL the time to release it when Eminem was out...and now when R2 is coming out, he does all of this? He really couldn't do anything in Ems down time?

Whatever though, as long as it doesn't effect the R2 in anyway, I don't care.
