Between Midnight and 1 a.m. in the UK it's always down :) can almost guarantee it :D I always get my hopes up thinking its some big news but nothing ever comes xD I put it down to many people from America getting online and checking the site or something :)

A forum backup is made every day in the early hours, that could explain a 5-10min freeze.
As for general server issues, im working on it all tomorrow, should get some decent improvement.
